Biography

Charles Bugre is a PhD candidate at the University of Washington Information School. His research focuses on digital skills of persons with low-levels of literacy; ICTs and the future of libraries ; artificial intelligence ( e.g. deepfakes) and its looming effects on democracy. Before coming to UW iSchool, Charles has worked as an academic librarian for over nine years and as a lecturer in Computer Science for over three years.
